CARTHAGE. First Punic War. Circa 264-241 BC. Half Shekel (Silver, 18 mm, 5.13 g, 12 h). Wreathed head of Tanit to left, wearing single-pendant earring. Rev. Horse standing to right, head to left. ACIP 539; CNH 1; MHC Class I, 4. An attractive and fresh example with a fine style head of Tanit. Minor scratches, otherwise, very fine.
